Returns Policy – Elevator Signs NYC
At Elevator Signs NYC, your satisfaction is important to us. However, to ensure clarity and protection for both parties, we have outlined our return policy below. By placing an order with Elevator Signs NYC or any affiliated entity, you agree to the terms of this policy in full.
Eligibility for Returns
Most new, unopened items may be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery for a full product refund. Items must be in unused, undamaged, and resalable condition, with all original packaging and components included. Items that are custom, personalized, special-order, installed, or altered in any way are non-returnable.
Return Shipping and Fees
Unless the return is a direct result of our error (e.g., you received an incorrect or defective item), the customer is solely responsible for all shipping and return shipping costs. In cases of customer error, change of mind, or order duplication, any original shipping costs are non-refundable, and a restocking fee may apply. Returns sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.
If Elevator Signs NYC is found to be at fault (e.g., incorrect item shipped), we will cover the return shipping cost and promptly issue a refund or replacement once the return is received and verified.
Refund Processing Time
Once your return is approved and received, you can expect a refund within four (4) weeks. This includes:
- Transit time for the item to reach us (5–10 business days),
- Processing time once we receive it (3–5 business days),
- Time for your bank to complete the refund transaction (5–10 business days).
Refunds will only be issued to the original payment method. Elevator Signs NYC is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers, financial institutions, or incorrect return submissions.
Return Authorization Process
To initiate a return, please contact us in advance with your order number, the reason for return, and photos if applicable. Our team will provide return instructions and an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Returns without an RMA will not be processed.
Returns must be shipped back using a trackable service and adequately packaged to avoid damage. Elevator Signs NYC is not responsible for lost, misrouted, or damaged return shipments.
Limitation of Liability
Elevator Signs NYC and its affiliated companies assume no liability for any loss, damage, or delay resulting from the return process, including but not limited to loss of business, delays in construction or inspection, legal penalties, or compliance issues. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all return requests comply with our terms, timelines, and product eligibility.
International Shipping Disclaimer:
Please note: We do NOT offer international shipping at this time. Elevator Signs NYC ships only within the United States. Any orders placed with an international shipping address will be canceled and refunded.

Shipping Policy – Elevator Signs NYC
At Elevator Signs NYC, we take pride in processing and shipping your order promptly. However, once the package leaves our facility, the responsibility for delivery timing shifts to the shipping carrier. We are not liable for any delays caused by USPS, UPS, FedEx, or other delivery services, including delays due to weather, holidays, labor strikes, customs, or other unforeseen circumstances.
We do not offer refunds or cancellations due to late delivery caused by the carrier. If receiving your item by a specific deadline is critical, we strongly recommend contacting us before placing your order to discuss express shipping options or arranging your own shipping method.
Customers who prefer to use their own shipping labels or carriers must contact us prior to placing an order. We will do our best to accommodate such requests, but arrangements must be made in advance to ensure proper handling and timely shipping. Once a shipping label is provided and approved, all liability for transit timing and delivery condition passes to the customer.
Elevator Signs NYC is also not responsible for any financial or legal consequences resulting from late delivery, including missed inspections, project delays, or code violations. Our products are made and shipped with care, but the timing of arrival is outside our control. Customers must decide whether to proceed with their order based on this understanding.
